"The towns were paper but the memories were not"

^^ I am determined to decorate. No more grandma's living in our house

^^ Master chef junior makes me go crazy. Homemade pasta anyone?

^^ School? I'd rather make movies but if I have to study i'm going to use sticky notes.

^^ I love having a good set of visitors. And sometimes we become terrifying in an attempt to be beautiful.

^^ I literally ate crepes for two weeks in a row earlier this month. And downtown St. George is my favorite place.

^^ Trips to the temple with the best friends and collecting evidence of "fall"

^^ Beaver chair and doctors visits.

^^ I've literally become a hippie.

^^ Pomegranates for free and oreos. We always win halloween.
^^ I've officially become a flower snatcher and air mail from Taiwan.

^^ Spent saturday morning at the homecoming parade before I curled up on the couch and vowed never to leave again until my body quit killing me. (p-town kids. It's the worst place).

^^ I'm going to become an english teacher and make high school kids read John Green books until they cry, and cookies, duh.

I like october kids. Its always a good time.

Hey-o it's awktober again.

-I really like october guys. It is probably my third favorite month. Second being june and first being March. Obviously.
-Everyday I walk across the cross walk at least three times and every time these yellow flowers just mocked me, sitting there all pretty, so one night I snatched them up and now they are on my kitchen table. Day=brightened.
-Our apartment is seriously so drab. I'm making serious efforts to spruce it up (the flowers being one of them).
-The other day I was sitting innocently in class when this kid ran smack into my hair. It's because it was in a bun and that bun takes up the entire row. I have a lot of hair. Raise your hand if you think I should chop it...
-I've ran into two things this week alone. I somehow managed to smack my face against our thermostat which resulted in a bruise on one side of my nose and a goose-egg type bump on the other. I also ran into a parked car. I even saw it there, I wasn't distracted at all.
-I eat crepes a lot. I literally made crepes five days straight last week. Comfort food.
-I get into random fits of domesticity and the other day resulted in homemade pasta. It was because those little babies on master chef junior were making it and I will not loose to them. It was pretty good except for the fact that it was a little thick and I just have issues with noodles.
-The lady at mongolian barbecue knows my name. It's cool and I get tons of free fortune cookies.
-My new favorite thing to say is hey-o. I don't know where it came from, but it's staying.
-I also have gotten into the habit of saying, "I do what I can with what I got" personal mantra right therr.
-Three cheers for the first post in months that isn't just a video.
-Speaking of video's, I took my computer to class the other day and edited the whole time. Yes. I'm that kid. Expect semi-great things from the september video.

summer school blows

after taking all the finals in the world, I took a break and threw this video together.
It's a stress reliever. And this is a solid attempt to stop making twenty minute long videos. It probably wont happen, but still.
happy camping.

Saturday, May 11, 2013

I had something to blog about, but I forgot what it was.

I went to the airport today.
I long to fly somewhere again,
although I hate flying.

Missionary mail is the best mail.
Actually all mail is the best mail.
Mail is awes sauce.

It's going to be another one of those posts.
the ones that have no rhythm or reason.
welcome back old friend.
It's summer guys.
so i stay up way to late playing nancy drew although i am 19.
I will never be to old for nancy. she's my homegirl.

a lot of my favorite scriptures are in isaiah.
he's so cool you guys.
i can't wait till i get up to heaven and i can shake his hand and say, "Hey, thanks for writing scriptures that mean something different every time i read them."

I got a ring out of a kinder egg today.
it has a stamp of a polar bear foot inside it.
i've beens stamping everything i can get my hands on. i'm probably 6.

do my sentences seem choppy to you?
oh well.
deal  with it.

lame lame. i have nothing to write about.
and yet there are about a bazilion more drafts in my posts area then there ever has been before.
maybe i'll open this up to questions.

ask away.
be anonymous if you like.
i prefer it that way probably.

also, i really love this picture.
i found it the other day and framed it.
life is awesome.

harry potter in the everyday life...

once i was thinking about all of the things i would make horcruxes out of, and i ended up sounding a lot like voldemort.
example one: my first horcrux would be my anatomy lab manual.

I'm pretty sure this book already houses half of my soul. this is not a drill.

example two: my arrow ring i bought to celebrate my being top in my anatomy class.

just look at that beauty. i would of shown it on my finger except for the fact that my finger fat is very dominant. i have fat fingers. unbelievably fat fingers.

example three: my sister bonder necklace i have with janna that we bought with the cents in dad's car.

i still wear it everyday. it's important to remember where you came from.

example four: my dearest pigwidegeon. it's only fitting that he would be a horcrux, one because i don't think i will ever love a fish as much as i loved him, and two because he was named from harry potter.

he still will forever hold my heart .

this is where things got a little creepy. i was comparing my horcruxes to voldemorts, and i realized that out of his seven, four of mine were similar. my anatomy lab manual, his journal. my ring, the resurrection stone in the form of a ring. my necklace, slytherins locket, my pet fish, his pet snake.
at this point i just decided to continue with this theme.

horcrux number five: my p.g. baseball hat. it's no secret i never do my hair, and i wear this hat very often. i love it. i also love sandwiches.

similar to ravenclaw's lost diadem.

horcrux six: my owl cup i bought for fifty cents at a garage sale.

seriously, hufflepuff's cup right there.

me and voldy could defiantly be best friends. although i would probably have four more horcruxes.

my favorite t-shirt. i have neve had such soft fabric on my body.
my cactus. just look how cute it is.
my dream catcher. i love that fat indian.
my kite. seriously the best present i have ever received.

i was just thinking about how harry's death was going to be made into the seventh horcrux, but instead he became the seventh horcrux, what do you think the object voldemorts soul was going to be housed in? just thought about that. just now.
have a good day.

and i'm over here going, "i miss march."

it's no secret march is my favorite month.
take a look at why.

expecto patronum v.2

I would think of the time I called you, and sat outside on the benches in front of my building and talked to you for hours.
I would think of the time we "studied" outside.
I would think of the time I completed the last math homework assignment i'll ever have to do.
I would think of the time we sat in my room and just talked about life.
I would think about the first time you ever went laser tagging.
I would think about the time we went to walmart, and I was in my pajamas, but you didn't care.
I would think about all of the times you drove around campus listening to my favorite music until I was tired enough to fall asleep.
I would think about the first time you put your arm around me.
I would think about the night we spent talking in my room because we hadn't seen each other for months.
I would think of the time I woke you up because I had a bad dream.
I would think of the time we watched the last two seasons of chuck together.
I would think of the time you shared your testimony with me, and I cried.
I would think about all of the prayers i've ever muttered in anger, and your patience with me.
I would think of the time we went to JCW's and talked about growing up, and how it isn't as scary as it seems.
I would think about the time you gave me a blessing.
I would think about the time we watched perks of being a wallflower twice in a row.
I would think about the time we drove to cedar, and spent the day in your city.
I would think of all of the blessings i've been showered with.
I would think of that song.
I would think about the time you stayed up with me almost all night because I wasn't tired, and I had so much to talk about.
I would think about the time you took me to denny's because I was frustrated.
I would think of our friendship rings.
I would think about how excited I was to give you christmas.
I would think about that dream.
I would think about the time we had a sleep over and crochet in the bathroom to hide from my stalker.
I would think of being top in my class.
I would think about the stars at dixie rock.
I would think about all the lesson's i've learned in the past two years, even the hard ones. Especially the hard ones.

volume one here.

carrot cauliflower and a dingoberry.

Time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted.

It's waking up when sara gets home from dance.
It's reading in Isaiah and having no clue what's happening.
It's wasting sticky notes on funny sayings.
It's laughing at nothing, and plans to start a cupcake truck.
It's talking to all three of my siblings on the same day.
It's celebrating the people I love, and their birth.
It's hunting for lizards.
It's long weekends and good music.
It's texting him nonsense.
It's wearing stolen socks for good luck.
It's instagram stalking instead of doing homework.
It's eating fruit snacks that are soft as jelly.
It's holding cuddly babies.
It's lego star wars and Bang.
It's throwing a perfect cylinder.
It's never having to throw another cylinder.
It's notecards and highlighters.
It's the vitamin D in the air.
It's my skin a little tanner.
It's fresh laundry.
It's honolulu grill, and hotel transylvania.
It's hiding on the floor during an "earthquake."
It's life, and it's so good.

I'm thankfulf for my dip's mip's and pip's

welcome to anatomy where you are forced to face your fears.
fear number 1: scaring people away because you smell like a dead body.
fear number 2: eyes in general. i see cadavers eyes all the time. i even saw someone touch one without passing out. (I will never touch it. not even if you gave me all the money in the world.)
fear number 3: taking a class that will take all of your time. (i'm even studying when i watch the bachelor. sad time's when your guilty pleasure show gets taken over by school.)

did this post even makes sense?
no?
cool.
anatomy rocks my socks and closed toed shoes.
we have to wear closed toed shoes because my teacher doesn't want cadaver remains to get on our little toes. thats cool. i don't like my shoes anyways.

Tuesday, January 1, 2013

woah. 2013 already, and no posts from december. guess i'll just have to make this one a huge one.

2012 was quite the year.
here are a few moments caught via photo booth.

(All of them are from the second half of the year, and are completely out of order, but i'm to lazy to do anything about it.)

home for fall break.

sporting one of the best presents i've ever gotten. i love Shakespeare.

I ended up wearing sweats almost every friday. sue me. 8:00 class was the worst.

one month me and kendall texted over 1000 times. best friends and stuff.

that beautiful dream catcher spins me wonderful dreams. thrift stores in st. george rock.

i ended up with bed head a lot for the last week of school. finals and stuff. who knew.

being home for christmas is the best thanks to these two holagins .

hacked by brother and the cutest baby in the world.

first photo booth picture ever. freshly graduated and ready for summer.

sleeping in mom's bed playing nancy drew.

painting for daysss....

ashley's shirt that i stole on accident. it also happens to be the best shirt to laser tag in. if you don't believe me, ask me on a laser tag date and i'll prove it.

we were supposed to be babysitting...

cone heads and bfff's.

protein shake anyone?

whoops. i was home alone, hiding from my stalker.

sandwiches from stacks and baseball hats.

long hair, don't care. it was hardly ever done.

harry potter for days.

99 days until les mis. now i've seen it and loved it. dying to go again.

first physiology final. who knew that class would be the death of me.

studying outside turned into a whole bunch of random pictures. "this is art"

merry christmas and stuff.
and now a video of some of the random moments i got caught on film.

i am aware that there is no october footage. i'm not going to lie. october was probably the worst month ever. it was a rough time. i'd rather pretend october wasn't a real month.

some other awesome things that happened in 2012:
January: I can't remember.
February: I accepted my scholarship to Dixie. life began to feel real.
March: hosa and stuff.  I turned 18, life began to feel realer.
April: Harry potter world. it was the best time ever.
May: Graduation, i was called cuhmee. that was cute.
June: became a hobbit.
July: was an even bigger hobbit. although it may seem like i had a bunch of fun, reality was, i was hiding from reality. hard core.
August: i went away to college, which was so weird.
September: became a hobbit that lived in st. george.
October: became angry. sorry erin for taking out that anger on you.
November: i finally realized that college is awesome if you aren't stupid.
December: my sister got married, and i couldn't be more happier for her.

2012 was weird. but what can you do about it?
i have beed so blessed by the people that are in my life right now, i can hardly believe it.
I just want to shout out to my best roommate ever, erin lou hardy. i have no idea where i would be without her. i know that i haven't always been the best roommate, but you sure have. i love you dear! thank you for putting up with me even when i'm awful. i'm so glad that we can be sharing this experience together!
peace out 2012.
you have no idea how excited i am for 2013.

we have no parents

we sleep in their bed because we play nancy drew until past midnight.
our house has gone to the dogs and the singing people.
we eat at weird hours due to the weird sleeping patterns.
and it would appear i have a bald spot.
life is good.

it's friday i'm in love

it's been a mumford and sons kind of day.
it's also been the long kind.
gelato soothes the soul.
so do some sisters i love.
kinder eggs are the best part of my childhood.
with the little prizes that i would hoard in my room.
star wars was on while i was giving plasma.
i was all right with it.
han solo is my star wars crush.

may the fourth be with you.

today was good.

I must have really sensitive pits or something

Attention everyone.
there is a person who has changed my life more than anyone else.
and today is her birthday.
i've known miss erin lou for quite sometime now, and it is safe to say she changed my life.
she came into my life at a time when i was the most vulnerable.
i was lacking in the happy department,
but if you know erin, you know that she has plenty of happy to go around.
luckily, she shared some with me, and she is one of the reasons i got out of the black pit i was in.
she's beautiful, funny, she always knows exactly what to say and when to say it.
she's just spazy enough, and just serious enough.
she makes me want to be a better person when i'm around her, and luckily she doesn't mind it when i'm not at my best.
we take awkward pictures together. and i mean serious. bad. blackmail pictures.
she writes me letters because she knows i like mail.
she isn't embarrassed to be seen in public with me when i'm in my pajamas and my hair looks like and orphans.
we have sleepovers and watch her sixth grade play and gymnastic movies.
we go out to lunch and just talk.
i tell her my secrets.
she changed my life.
and i bet if you gave her the chance, she can change yours too.
because i've never met anyone quite like her.

happy birthday best friend.
i love you.
also, this is the best picture we have with eachother.
probs lets change that or something.
