Blessings in a package

These are my scriptures.
They are falling apart, pages are missing, it falls open to same page no matter what.
I write in them, highlight them, and circle the things I think are the most important.
I write promises and song lyrics in the margins. I have several glue ins. There is a quote that I love that says, "a person whose scriptures are falling apart probably aren't."
I think its true.
I read my scriptures so God can talk to me. The things I write, or the versus I highlight are little messages.from Him.
"wherefore be of good cheer and do not fear for I the lord am with you, and will stand by you."
D&C 68:6
My scriptures are my greatest blessing. They are conversations I have with my Heavenly Father. I love them.
And it shows.
