the signs of spring

flowers are blooming,

birds are singing,

children are running jumping and swinging,

flip flops are sounding,

shouts are resounding,

the doctors synopsis

well, yesterday i went to the doctor to find out what the heck was wrong with me. we were there for probubly 3 hours and the least. it took forever long. but thats okay. the doctor said that i dislokated my knee cap, and there was a lot of fluid in there, thats why its so swollen. she also told me to keep my weight off it for a while, so now i have cruches. who know how much i'll use them though, those things hurt worse then walking. here are my x-rays. i was so happy when they let me take them home, but they have to be returned, so sad day.

the battles of ninth grade P.E.

well, as many of you know from my mom, i broke my pinky recently in P.E. it was very spazy. we were playing basketball, and i jamed my pinky trying to get the ball. I think it actually broke when i was doing ninja moves at lunch. Jk, but thats what i told everyone and they all believed me. my mom didnt think it was broken, but when we went to the doctor, he said i had a compression fracture. that means the bone got pushed in. My pinky was very swollen and black and blue. i got an awsome bright pink brace to wear, and i had a grand time telling people i broke it doing ninja moves. it was also very satisfing to watch the look on peoples faces when i showed them my finger.

My finger is now fully healed. we are finished playing basketball in P.E, and have moved on to vollyball. Well, i am a very spazy vollyball player. today we were playing, and i was going for the ball. it bounced off the basketball hoop and went behind me, so i twisted around, and i popped my knee out of its socket. it was actually a very cool experiance. but when i put it back in place, it went kindof numb and i freaked out. i was scared to straighten it, and i was hugging it to my body. well, my P.E. teacher, coach butler looked at it, and said she thought i might have sprained a ligament. she alos said that it was possible that it will happen again if i dont get my knee strong. so, my mom cheaked me out of school, and i've been icing it. i'm also hoping that when my knee is healed, i wont get another injury. P.E. hasnt really been working for me this year. well, here are some pictures. my knee only looks red becuase i had ice on it.

Creeping Closer

I love the month of march. It might come in like a lion, but it goes out with a bang! especially this year. One of the reasons I love march is because of spring! when you finally get out of the winter drag, and wear shorts when its 60 degrees cause that feels hot. And, spring is slowly on the way. today it was so nice! I played outside forever! I had shorts on and i felt so happy!
March 23rd is slowly coming closer. I'm finally getting the braces off. they are such a pain! everything gets caught in them, and i cant handle it any more! but they are finally coming off.
also, my birthday is coming up. March 31 is the big day when i turn 15. me and my friend haley are going to go get our drivers permits if we ever read the drivers manuel.
last but not least, spring break in about a month. finally, a break from school!

Me and my friends haley and lindsey got together yesterday and hung out. we started the night with some intense danicing, but the video's wont upload. then for like and hour we were taking pictures of ourselfs. these are some of the better ones.

yippee! i'm so excited for march 23rd! thats right, the big day is finally coming! its not my birthday if thats what your thinking. MY BRACES ARE FINALLY COMING OFF! yes, finally after almost 7 years of them. they are such a pain! my orthodondist keeped giving me dates, but would never go through with them, but this time its official! i hope. so keep your fingers crossed that he's not just yankin my chain. theres a little braces humor for you. if you dont get it, tough luck.
